My guiding creative scholarship question is:
How may I use theoretical frameworks or data collected from traditional my research projects as a basis for apparel designs, wearable art, or fiber art?
As a result, my creative scholarship program has focused for the past several years on 4 areas:

the reuse of metal garment findings in textiles and garments to explore paradigms in social responsibility,
-
the creation of machine and hand felted textiles inspired by fractal chaos from chaos theory; and
-
use of Ghanaian textiles for evening wear creation within the realm of afrocentricity and black consumerism.

integration of wearable technology into accessories and apparel.
